Wanderer

I am a wanderer this is what I've known
Going here and there, pretty much everywhere
This life is a blessing but also a deep challenge
For I desire to explore but also have a home

But then I am remided that home is not a physical place
It is a state of my heart as I trust God and follow his path
Right now it seems to be taking me to random places
But these places are where my heart and my faith are being grown

This is a priceless concept for me to comprehend
All the lessons and gems I am to hold in an open hand
No matter where I am, there is my Lord
Revealing more and more of his beautiful will for my life

I'm learning to be ok with not knowing tomorrow
With setting this heart of mine on pilgrimage
With only one desire to know my God deeper
And live with his people in open, honest fellowship

May this life be a selfless offering to you my Lord
May I know what it means to truly serve and love
May I be able to step out of my comfort zone
And embrace a life being lived in the unknown
